Russia - Middle East International Expert Forum to be held in Kazan

Russia — Middle East International Expert Forum will take place in Kazan from 1 to 4 August.

 

 


As reported on the website of the Russian International Affairs Council, the project is timed to the 90th anniversary of Yevgeny Primakov birthday - the outstanding Russian statesman and diplomat. 

 

 


During the forum, there will be discussions of general regional trends and the construction of a new security architecture in the region, Russia's and Turkey's approaches to security issues, opportunities and limitations of strategic partnership between Russia and Iran, participation of NGOs and military organizations in the Middle East processes, international formats for crisis resolution, aspects of the post-war reconstruction of Syria and Iraq, etc.

 

 


The Forum will be attended by leading Russian and foreign experts from Iran, Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, etc.

 

 


The purpose of the Forum, as noted, is to involve young researchers in the process of experiences and views exchange on the important problems of the Middle East.
