Special Presidential Representative of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of Lebanon to Russia Chawki Bou Nassar at his request.
During the conversation the officials held a detailed exchange of views on the developments in Lebanon and the Middle East as a whole.
The Russian side reaffirmed support for the unity, sovereignty and independence of the friendly Lebanese Republic.
