The Russian side at the international meeting on Syria in Sochi will discuss with the delegation of the Syrian opposition the separation from the terrorists in Idlib, Alexander Lavrentyev, the Russian President's Special Representative for Syria, told reporters on Tuesday.
"We will hold a very detailed conversation with the delegation of the Syrian opposition. We will talk to them about the need to distance ourselves from radical groups, especially in the Idlib de-escalation zone, which actually control this zone now and hinder the implementation of Russian-Turkish agreements to stabilize the situation on the line of contact. I think the time has come and it is time for the Syrian opposition to try to take matters into their own hands and liberate these territories from terrorist organizations," he said.
