Russia is committed to working with ASEAN, the SCO, BRICS, and the CSTO in shaping a new security architecture for Eurasia, according to Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
"In building Eurasian security, Russia aims to foster dialogue with all potential partners across the continent," Zakharova told Izvestia. "We are engaged in discussions both bilaterally with neighboring and allied nations and within regional organizations such as the CSTO, CIS, SCO, as well as ASEAN and the GCC."
She added that Russia is also working with BRICS members located in Eurasia, engaging in security talks either bilaterally or through platforms like the SCO.
"As the contours of a new security framework take shape, we may later consider sharing our experience with BRICS partners outside of Eurasia," Zakharova noted.
She emphasized that Russia would welcome European nations into this continental cooperation—provided they abandon hostile policies and bloc-based thinking.
