Russia to hold security consultations with Malaysia and Singapore

On August 27-30, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev will visit Malaysia and Singapore, where he will hold Russian-Malaysian and Russian-Singapore security consultations, the press service of the Security Council reported.

 

 

It is noted that the Russian delegation will include high-ranking representatives of the Defense Ministry, the Russian Foreign Ministry, the FSB, the Prosecutor General, The Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rosaviatsia (the Federal Air Transport Agency), etc.

 


During the consultations in Malaysia, it is planned to discuss joint bilateral cooperation in the field of justice, counter-terrorism, as well as military and military-technical cooperation.

 


In Singapore, the main topics of discussion will be information security, including combating cybercrime and cyberterrorism, as well as topical issues of regional and international security.
