Russia to supply Saudi Arabia with military equipment and weapons

Russia supplied Saudi Arabia with military equipment and weapons, reports "Interfax" with reference to the Federal Service of Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC of Russia).  It does not specify what kind of weapons was delivered to the Kingdom.

 

 


According to some reports, it is a heavy flamethrower System TOS-1A  Solntsepyok (Sunburn).

 

 


"All military-technical cooperation projects with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are being implemented in accordance with previously reached agreements. First batches of weapons and military equipment were delivered this year," spokeswoman of the FSMTC of the Russian Federation Maria Vorobyova said.

 

 


Russia agreed to supply Saudi Arabia with a range of Russian weapons in autumn of 2017 during the visit of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Moscow.
