Russia, Turkey, Germany and France can hold a new summit on Syria

10 April 2019

A new Russia-Turkey-Germany-France summit on a Syrian settlement can be held in the nearest future. This was announced by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in an interview with journalists after talks with the Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

According to the Turkish leader, the French President Emmanuel Macron expressed the interest in holding a quadrilateral summit.

This idea was also welcomed by the head of the Russian state, Vladimir Putin.

Let’s remind that last year in October the previous summit of the four countries on the Syrian issue was held in Istanbul.
