Russian Ambassador to Egypt Sergey Kirpichenko died today in the morning at the age of 68. As TASS reports with reference to the Russian Foreign Ministry, cause of death hasn't been established yet, but it is known that the diplomat died in hospital.
Kirpichenko was born in 1951.
In the course of his career, he headed Russian diplomatic missions in Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Libya. In 2011, he was appointed Russia’s Ambassador to Egypt and representative to the League of Arab States.
