Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Thursday discussed with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the sidelines of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Moscow the process of unblocking economic ties and transport communications in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"The Foreign Ministers discussed the implementation of the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia of November 9, 2020. and January 11, 2021, in particular concerning the solution of humanitarian problems in Nagorno-Karabakh, unblocking economic ties and transport communications in the region," the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
The Ministers exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral relations, including forthcoming high-level contacts, as well as preparations for the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which will be celebrated in 2022, the Foreign Ministry added.
The Foreign Ministers also touched upon topics on the international agenda.
