Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Vershinin met with Charge d'Affaires ad interim of the State of Israel to the Russian Federation Yacov Livne.
The meeting, according to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, was held on the initiative of the Israeli side.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the development of the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, with an emphasis on the situation in Syria, and also discussed practical issues of Russian-Israeli cooperation at the UN and other international platforms.
