A delegation of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia visited Amman. During the visit, memorandums of understanding were signed with two Jordanian universities.
According to the Rossotrudnichestvo website, the RUDN delegation visited the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, where they met with the head of the department, Walid Maani, a Jordanian member of Parliament Khaled Ramadan, the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Dr. Ahed Al-Wahadni and other officials.
All the participants expressed their interest in developing contacts in the field of Russian-Jordanian inter-university cooperation.
Russian and Jordanian experts discussed prospects for expanding scientific and educational cooperation, implementing curricula, opening Russian language courses at Jordanian universities, etc.
