A number of Russian companies have offered Saudi Arabia assistance in dealing with the consequences of drone attacks on Saudi Aramco facilities, which have led to large-scale losses in the Kingdom's oil production, Kirill Dmitriev,  the head of the Russian direct investment Fund (RDIF) said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"The Russian strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia continues to play a key role in the creation of OPEC+ and the stabilization of oil markets, and a number of Russian companies have offered their assistance to Saudi partners in overcoming the large - scale damage from these attacks", - he said.

The responsibility for the attack on the Saudi oil infrastructure was assumed by the Yemeni Houthis. As a result of the attacks, Saudi Aramco was forced to cut oil production by almost half.

Earlier today, in a telephone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the need for a thorough investigation of the incident.
