Russian companies can take part in the reconstruction of Iraq affected by the war with terrorists, Russian Ambassador to Iraq Maksim Maksimov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"One of the main directions of project activities on the proposal of the Iraqi side is the cooperation of our companies in the construction of low - cost housing for the population of Iraq," - said, in particular, the diplomat.
Earlier the Iraqi authorities estimated restoration of the economy destroyed due to actions of ISIS (is outlawed in Russia) in 88 billion dollars.
The Iraqi authorities announced a complete victory over ISIS in December 2017.
