Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Ambassador of Oman discussed intensification of trade and economic cooperation

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov and Ambassador of Oman to Moscow Youssef bin Issa bin Ali al-Zadjali discussed the issues of developing trade and economic cooperation.


"The conversation focused on key issues of the development of traditionally friendly Russia-Oman relations, including the intensification of trade and economic cooperation and the strengthening of its contractual and legal framework," the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement released on Thursday.


"During the exchange of views on topical regional issues, the focus was placed on the situation in the Persian Gulf zone, the situation in Yemen and Syria," the Russian diplomatic office added.
