Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Russia Ahmed Abdulrahman Mahmoud Al-Saati discussed the further development of bilateral relations as well as the settlement of crises in the Middle East.
"Priority issues of further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Bahrain relations were discussed," the Russian MFA said in a statement on Friday.
The ministry said the diplomats also exchanged views on topical Middle Eastern issues with a focus on the tasks of resolving crisis situations in the region.
