Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Egyptian Ambassador to Moscow Nazih el Nagari discussed on Wednesday the situation in Sudan, as well as in Syria and Libya. The Russian diplomatic office said in a statement.
"During the conversation there was a confidential exchange of views on the key aspects of the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, with a focus on the situation in Sudan, as well as in Syria and Libya," the publication said.
It is noted that the importance of maintaining an active Russian-Egyptian political dialogue, including contacts at various levels, was confirmed.
