Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko and Pakistani Ambassador to Moscow Shafqat Ali Khan discussed the schedule of upcoming political contacts and deepening cooperation on international issues at Tuesday's meeting.
"At the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral and regional agendas, as well as forthcoming contacts. The two countries confirmed their focus on intensifying interaction in various directions, including cooperation on international issues of mutual interest," the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement circulated.
The meeting was held upon the request of a Pakistani diplomat.
