Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and African countries and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed the situation in the countries of the region with Saudi Arabia's Charge d'Affaires in Moscow Atallah Alenzi during a meeting on Thursday.
"A detailed exchange of views on Middle Eastern issues was held, focusing on the situation in Syria, Lebanon and Yemen," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
As the ministry noted, the sides also touched upon important aspects of strengthening multifaceted bilateral cooperation.
The meeting was held at the request of the Charge d'Affaires of the Kingdom.
