Russian Deputy Foreign Minister discussed Middle East situation with Iranian Ambassador in Moscow

Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed the situation in the Middle East with Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali, the Russian MFA said in a statement on Monday.


"On April 25, Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and African countries and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moscow Kazem Jalali at his request. The sides had an interesting exchange of views on topical issues of the Middle East agenda," the foreign ministry said.


The Russian MFA also noted that the sides focused on discussing the situation in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and the Persian Gulf.
