Krystyna Marty Lang discussed the Middle East agenda with a focus on developments in and around Syria at a meeting on Friday.
"The conversation included an exchange of views on the Middle East agenda with a focus on developments in and around Syria, as well as prospects for a Palestinian-Israeli settlement," the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement issued.
The meeting was held at the request of the Swiss side.
