Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and African countries, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met on Tuesday with Ambassador of Switzerland in Moscow Krystyna Marty Lang at her request, and the sides discussed the settlement of the situation in Syria.
"During the conversation the sides exchanged views on Middle Eastern issues with a focus on the tasks of the Syrian settlement, as well as on the current African agenda," the Russian diplomatic office said in a statement.
