Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Russia Smail Allaoua.
According to the press service of the Russian MFA, the officials discussed relevant issues concerning further development of the relations between Russia and Algeria, including deepening of political dialogue and strengthening of trade, economic, humanitarian cooperation.
"Views had also been exchanged on key aspects of the situation in North Africa focusing on the socio-political environment in Algeria", the MFA states.
