Russian Deputy Foreign Minister discussed with Palestinian Ambassador the results of Abbas' visit to Russia

Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met on Monday with Palestinian Ambassador to Moscow Abdel Hafiz Nofal to discuss the results of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' visit to Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.


"They discussed topical issues of further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Palestinian ties taking into account the results of the visit of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to the Russian Federation on November 23 this year," the statement said. - "At the same time, the importance of maintaining an active and reliable political dialogue, in particular, on the problems of peaceful settlement of crises and conflicts in the Middle East in accordance with the principles of international law and the provisions of the UN Charter, was emphasized".


Mahmoud Abbas met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi on November 23.
