During the conversation, the parties discussed the state and prospects for improving the traditionally friendly relations between Russia and Tunisia, which are embodied in different areas. The situation in North Africa did not go unnoticed, where the armed conflict in Libya remains a factor of destabilization of the situation in the entire region. Russian and Tunisian sides agreed that supporting the efforts of UN Special Representative Gassan Salame is an important condition for the speedy end to the armed confrontation in the country.
