According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Russian Presidential Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov held talks with Saudi Ambassador to Moscow Abdurrahman al-Ahmed concerning the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the situation in the Red Sea region.
"The exchange of views on the Middle East agenda primarily focused on the challenges posed by the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the developments in the Red Sea area," highlighted the ministry.
Furthermore, the diplomatic department noted that the conversation touched upon on current issues related to enhancing the comprehensive Russian-Saudi cooperation, including discussions on the schedule of forthcoming bilateral engagements.
