The Russian embassy in Abidjan has reported to TASS that the situation in Burkina Faso and Cote d'Ivoire remains stable, with no observed changes in response to the recent developments in Niger.
"Everything is calm, and life in the country [Cote d'Ivoire] carries on as usual. We haven't observed any changes," stated the diplomatic mission. - We have not received any appeals from the Russian community residing here."
The situation in Burkina Faso, which shares a border with Niger, remains stable. The Russian diplomatic mission in Abuja, which is also responsible for Burkina Faso, has confirmed that no Russian citizens have sought assistance from the embassy.
