The Russian embassy in Kazakhstan congratulated the residents of the republic with the national holiday celebrated on Tuesday - Republic Day, pointing to the confident movement of Astana on the path of transformation.
"The Russian embassy in Kazakhstan congratulates all the people of Kazakhstan on Republic Day! This national holiday symbolizes Kazakhstan's gaining sovereignty and independence, its establishment as a strong, dynamically developing and prosperous state, a full member of the world community," the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
It notes that the republic is moving confidently along the path of political, social and economic transformations, strengthening domestic peace, harmony and national unity. "We wish Kazakhstan success in the implementation of the reform agenda formulated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev," the message reads.
The embassy also reminded that these days marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Kazakhstan. "In this connection, there is a feeling of deep satisfaction that, despite the obstacles posed by our ill-wishers, Russia-Kazakhstan allied relations and integration ties are dynamically developing for the benefit of the peoples of our countries," the diplomatic mission stressed.
