Russian Embassy in Ankara expresses condolences over earthquake in Turkey

On Monday, the Russian embassy in Ankara expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that occurred last night in southeastern Turkey. A message to that effect was posted on the diplomatic mission's Twitter page.


"We send words of support to all the citizens and our Turkish friends who were affected by the earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaras and was felt in many cities. We hope that this disaster can be overcome with as little damage as possible. We offer our condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the injured," the text reads.
