The Russian Emergencies Ministry's IL-76 airplane has successfully delivered the 20th batch of humanitarian aid to support the civilian population of the Gaza Strip, as reported by the agency's press service to TASS.
"A special airplane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry has delivered the 20th batch of humanitarian aid for the peaceful population of the Gaza Strip. Russian rescuers handed over 29 tons of humanitarian cargo to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society," the Emergencies Ministry stated.
According to the Ministry's press service, the humanitarian aid package includes cereals, flour, sugar, and other long-term storage products, as well as personal hygiene items. A significant portion of the cargo was collected through an initiative led by the government of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
Since the commencement of the humanitarian mission, Russian EMERCOM flights have transported over 480 tons of essential supplies, including food, medicines, clothing, and other necessities, to support the population of the Gaza Strip.
