Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to Iraq in October this year, Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov announced.
"Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's visit to Iraq is scheduled in October," the diplomat said, speaking at a reception on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Iraq.
Earlier it became known that Moscow and Baghdad are working on the organization of Iraqi President Barham Salih and Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi visits to Russia.
