Today, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and North Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received Mustafa Barghouti, Palestinian National Initiative leader.
During the conversation, the parties had a thorough exchange of views on the current situation in the Palestinian-Israeli settlement.
At the same time, the need to restore Palestinian national unity based on the platform of the Palestine Liberation Organisation was emphasized.
"Topical issues of further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Palestinian relations were also discussed", the message reads.
