Russian Foreign Ministry Proposes Consultations in Moscow for Middle East Settlement

Russia has expressed its support for convening consultations involving key stakeholders to align their positions on the resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in Moscow, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova during a briefing.

 

"The Russian Foreign Ministry advocates, and this has already been done, with the initiative to hold consultations of key players in Moscow in order to harmonize their position on the solution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict," stated Zakharova.

 

"We continue to raise the issue of creating an effective mediation mechanism in the sphere of the Middle East settlement, in which the states of the region would play an important role," she added.
