Alexander Lavrentiev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Syrian settlement, and Sergey Vershinin, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, as part of the Russian interdepartmental delegation with representatives of the Defense Ministry, held consultations with the Turkish delegation headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey. The Russian said also had talks with the Turkish Presidential Adviser on political issues.
According to the press service of the Russian MFA, the discussion focused on the development of the situation in Syria, primarily in the Idlib de-escalation zone.
