Another round of Russian-Kyrgyz consultations of Deputy Foreign Ministers on the fight against international terrorism took place in Moscow.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed main issues of the international counter-terrorism agenda, confirmed the unity of approaches to work on the counter-terrorism with the central coordinating role of the UN and its Security Council, without politicization and "double standards".
Also, the need to consolidate global efforts in the fight against ISIS (outlawed in Russia) and other international terrorist organizations, as well as to strengthen cooperation in the identification and suppression of terrorism funding sources and channels, was emphasized.
