Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Walid Hamed Shiltag, representative of the Arab League (League) in Moscow, have highlighted the critical need to prevent further escalation in the Middle East, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
During their meeting, they addressed key issues related to strengthening cooperation between Russia and the League to facilitate the early resolution of conflicts and crises in the Middle East and North Africa. Both parties expressed deep concern over the increasing tension in the region and underscored the importance of avoiding further escalation to prevent potentially catastrophic consequences for the entire Middle East.
