Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov presented Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Russia Saiful Hoque with the badge For Cooperation established by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the diplomat was awarded the badge "for the significant personal contribution to strengthening relations between Russia and Bangladesh".
Bangladesh is a state in South Asia and a member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The main religions of the country are Islam (89.7 %) and Hinduism (9.2%).
