2020 the international arena will be marked by the US presidential election. This opinion was expressed by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in an interview with the program "Mezhdunarodnoye Obozrenie" ("International review") on the Russia-24 TV channel.
"Next year will be held in international political terms under the banner of the American presidential elections", said, in particular, the diplomat.
The topic of Russian interference in the American elections, meanwhile, according to Zakharova, still has not disappeared, but it exists only because "it is warming up with all its might, although it is obvious that it can no longer live itself without daily heating".
The US presidential election will be held on November 3, 2020. It will be the 59th elections.
