The Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a comment on the drone attack on the Saudi Aramco refineries on the night of September 14.
The Houthis claimed responsibility for this attack. Riyadh defines the incident as terrorist attacks.
There were no casualties as a result of the attack but Saudi oil exports were forced to be reduced by 50%.
"Such processes cause serious concern in Moscow. We strongly condemn strikes against non-military targets, the destruction of socio-economic infrastructure, any actions that can unbalance the supply and demand for energy, provoke a new wave of instability in the world hydrocarbon market with the ensuing negative consequences for the world economy", - the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Ministry once again stressed that the exchanges of strikes on civilian targets and related violations of international humanitarian law are a direct consequence of the ongoing military-political crisis in Yemen.
"We reaffirm our principled position on the need to end the armed confrontation as soon as possible and to establish an inclusive negotiation process under the auspices of the UN with the participation of all leading socio-political forces, regional communities and religious groups in Yemen", - the Russian Ministry claimed.
