Russian MFA comments on the spread of the coronavirus

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a report on the spread of the new coronavirus in South Korea, Iran and Italy.


The Ministry recommends Russian citizens to temporarily avoid traveling to the above-mentioned countries, unless it is absolutely necessary.


"The Russian Foreign Ministry asks all Russian citizens in the Republic of Korea, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Italian Republic to provide their contact details to the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Korea, respectively, by e-mail consotdel-korea@mail.ru, to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Islamic Republic of Iran by e-mail teheran@dks.ru, to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Italian Republic by e-mail consitalia@mid.ru or call the hotline numbers listed on the Internet sites of the embassies in Seoul, Tehran, and Rome. We also ask you to call +7 495 587 88 60 contact center of the Ministry and provide your personal data, preferred type of communication and actual location for recording and further regular notification of the planned response measures by the Government of the Russian Federation in connection with the spread of the coronavirus", the message reads.
