Russian MFA confirms its readiness to continue cooperation with Uzbekistan

Russian deputy foreign minister Andrei Rudenko and Uzbek ambassador to Moscow Botirjon Asadov confirmed at Thursday's meeting the intention to continue cooperation between Moscow and Tashkent.


"The mood for continued cooperation between the two countries in the interests of maintaining the high dynamics of the multifaceted relations of strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Uzbekistan has been confirmed," the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement.


Smolensk Square pointed out that the sides exchanged views on topical issues of Russian-Uzbekistani comprehensive cooperation, including forthcoming contacts at high and top levels.
