On August 22, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic Riad Haddad at his request.
The main topic of the conversation was the situation in Syria and related developments. Also, the parties separately focused on the issue of strengthening Russian-Syrian cooperation, in particular, on the tasks of restoring the social infrastructure and economy in Syria after the conflict.
