Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov met with Qadri Jamil, the leader of the Syrian opposition Popular Front for Change and Liberation and head of the Syrian opposition’s Moscow Platform.
During the conversation, according to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the current military and political situation in Syria was discussed.
"Special attention was paid to the prospects for advancing the political process carried out and led by the Syrians themselves in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2254", the report said.
