Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received a delegation of the "International Crisis Group" non-governmental organization headed by MENA Program Director Joost Hiltermann.
The parties touched upon topical issues of the Middle East agenda with an emphasis on the concept of collective security in the Persian Gulf proposed by the Russian side, in the context of the relevant "round table", which will be held on September 18-19 this year in Moscow at the Institute of Oriental studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
