Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov during the meeting with a delegation from the Syrian Ba'ath Party said about Russia's principled position on supporting Syrian unity and territorial integrity.
Syrian delegation was led by Deputy General Secretary Hilal Hilal. The parties focused on eradicating terrorism in Syria, rebuilding the country's socio-economic infrastructure and creating conditions for the return of refugees and internally displaced persons.
"The Russian side reiterated its principled position on supporting Syrian unity, territorial integrity and sovereignty," the message reads.
