Special presidential representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov received Head of the Political Department of the Palestine Liberation Organisation Anwar Abdul Hadi.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East settlement.
They confirmed that there is no alternative to a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the existing international legal basis. At the same time, the Russian side emphasized the importance of the early achievement of national unity by the Palestinians on the PLO political platform.
