The main forces of ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra international terrorist groups (outlawed in Russia) in Syria have been destroyed, but the fight against the centers of terrorism in the country, including in Idlib, has to be continued, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin said at the meeting of the UN Security Council.
"The Syrian people gained, not without the support of Russia, a decisive victory over terrorism. Today, the main forces of ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra, whatever they call themselves, and other terrorist groups recognized as such by the UN Security Council, have been destroyed. But the eradication of terrorists, including such a large hotbed as Idlib, should be continued with maximum care for the lives and safety of civilians", - he said, in particular.
