Russian military doctors to conduct humanitarian action in two provinces of Syria

Russian servicemen and military doctors in the first two days of April will conduct a "Humanitarian Express" action in Raqqa and Hasakah provinces, Rear Admiral Alexander Karpov, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria, said.


"In order to provide humanitarian aid to the population of the Syrian Arab Republic, the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the Warring Parties is planning to hold a "Humanitarian Express" in the provinces of Raqqa and Hasakah from April 1 to 2," Karpov noted.


According to the deputy head of the center, the soldiers of the Center and military doctors will conduct humanitarian actions and provide medical assistance to civilians. In particular, 2,000 food packages weighing more than 15 tons will be distributed.


Karpov clarified that over the past 24 hours, the Russian side did not register any shelling by illegal armed groups under Turkish control. At the same time, 25 shelling from the positions of the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group (banned in Russia - TASS) were recorded in the de-escalation zone in Idlib.
