The militants have prepared at least 15 explosive devices with an unknown substance to stage a provocation in populated areas of Syria, the head of the Russian Center for reconciliation of warring parties in Syria, Rear Admiral Alexander Shcherbitsky announced on Wednesday at a briefing.
"According to reports, the militants in a special laboratory located in Sarmada have already manufactured at least 15 improvised explosive devices filled with an unknown toxic substance," Shcherbitsky said.
According to information from the local population, said the head of the Center, the militants of the terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (outlawed in Russia) "planning provocations in the settlements of Safahun, al-Fatirah and Fleifel Idlib province with the purpose to accuse the government forces of using chemical weapons."
Scherbitsky also added that five attacks were recorded in Idlib province, one in Latakia province, and one in Aleppo from the positions of the banned terrorist organization Jabhat al - Nusra.
