Russian Ministry Of Defense: More than 1700 people returned to Syria in a day

Russian Centre for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides and control over the movement of refugees in the Syrian Arab Republic, subordinated to the Russian Ministry of Defense, published a regular newsletter on August 13.

 

 


It reads that in the past 24 hours 1755 refugees came back to Syria:   1431 people from Jordan, 324 - from Lebanon.

 

 

 

In total, 356 100 people have returned to Syria since July 18, 2018. Almost a third of the refugees (112 527) came back from Lebanese territory. 243 573 people returned to the country from Jordan. At the same time, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, by July 22, 2019, 6 637 757 Syrian refugees who had sought refuge in 45 States have been registered.
