Russian Muslims express their condolences in connection with the earthquake in Croatia

First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council Rushan Abbyasov held a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Islamic organization of Croatia, mufti Aziz Hasanovich.


The main topic of discussion was the earthquake in Croatia.


Abbyasov, as reported by the press service of the RMC, expressed his condolences in connection with the incident.


Hasanovic, in turn, expressed gratitude for the words of support addressed to the Croatian Ummah.


The parties also confirmed their intention to maintain the positive dynamics of bilateral Russian-Croatian relations in the Islamic sphere.


The earthquake in Zagreb on March 22 was the strongest in the country for over the past 140 years.


There are no victims, except for one seriously injured teenager. The army was involved in eliminating the consequences of the earthquake.
